The Cloisters Preservation Project

Walter B. Melvin Architects, Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Eastman Architects

From 1998 to 2004 a series of projects were completed under our leadership. After a Master Plan was developed, a series of critical projects were executed, addressing a variety of needs at the Cloisters Museum, a unique and revered museum of medieval art  built in the 1930s. These included major façade and roof renovations, The Sherman Fairchild Conservation Lab, the San Guilhem Cloister Renovation, and the Renovation of the Early Gothic Hall windows, among others.
