Ann Kaufman Webster has devoted her professional life to capital project development for the arts. Trained as an architect, she began this focus at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs where she spearheaded projects for major cultural institutions. She was head of capital projects at The Cloisters and Brooklyn Museum where she developed projects for extremely complex historic structures. Additionally, she has had significant experience in the world of learning, both at the City University of New York and the New York Public Library. Her breadth of knowledge ranges from building infrastructure, building envelope and historic structures to the design of public spaces including galleries, libraries, and gardens.
